All manuscripts submitted to LENKA Journal of Medical and Health Technology (LJMHT) undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure high academic quality and integrity. The identities of both authors and reviewers are kept anonymous throughout the review process.

1. Initial Screening

  • Upon submission, the editorial team conducts an initial screening to evaluate:

    • Relevance to the journal’s scope

    • Compliance with author guidelines

    • Basic scientific quality

    • Plagiarism check (using plagiarism detection software)

  • Manuscripts that do not meet basic requirements may be rejected or returned for revision before peer review.

2. Peer Review

  • Suitable manuscripts are assigned to two independent expert reviewers with relevant subject expertise.

  • The peer review process typically takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability.

  • Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:

    • Originality and significance of the research

    • Clarity and structure of the presentation

    • Methodological rigor

    • Ethical standards

    • Validity of the conclusions

  • Reviewers provide constructive comments and make one of the following recommendations:

    • Accept

    • Minor Revision

    • Major Revision

    • Reject

3. Editorial Decision

  • Based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief or assigned editor makes the final decision:

    • Manuscripts requiring revisions will be returned to the authors with detailed feedback.

    • Authors are expected to submit a revised manuscript along with a point-by-point response to reviewers’ comments.

    • Revised manuscripts may be sent back to reviewers for further evaluation if necessary.

4. Final Acceptance

  • Once the manuscript is accepted, it proceeds to copyediting, layout, and proofreading before publication.

  • The final version will be published online open access under the CC BY 4.0 license.

5. Appeals and Complaints

  • Authors who disagree with the editorial decision may submit a written appeal with justification. Appeals will be reviewed by the editorial board.

  • Ethical concerns or complaints about the review process can be reported to the editorial office.
